Black Hole Video is a digital production company that specializes in weddings, theater productions, training videos, family events, bar/bat mitzvahs, sports events, etc.

Black Hole Video does not offer event packages but customizes coverage to suit our clients desires, therefore pricing for events is based on the event specifics. You tell me what you want and I will quote you a price. Barring unforeseen circumstances your product is delivered within two weeks of the event. You will receive three sets of your video on DVD, however if desired more sets can be purchased. Each disk will be custom printed as will the case cover.

Black Hole Video's  hourly rates are $100/hr/operator for the first hour, and $50/hr for every hour or part of an hour thereafter to videotape, and $50/hr to edit. If you desire your video delivered in high definition on Blu-Ray disk add $300 per event. Prices quoted for events such as weddings are based on a sightly different scale.

Other services provided by Black Hole Video with fees are :

• Picture /video montages to music - starting at $100.
• Special multi-media presentations - starting at $200.
• Training videos - This is contract work and the price will be quoted based on the requirements of the client.
• Sports or artistic highlight videos (often used for college scholarships) - subject to hourly rate of $50/hr to video and $50/hr to edit. Disks are $6 each delivered on DVD in a slim jewel case.
• VHS and 8mm tape to DVD conversions: direct copy - $25/tape: or edited - subject to editing rate of $50/hr.
• Photographic services; although Black Hole Video is a video production company we do offer a variety of custom photographic services. Please contact us for more information.
• Photograph, negative, or slide to digital picture conversion, this includes cleaning and treating the slide or negative with Filmguard and digital processing to remove minor imperfections and improve brightness, contrast, and color levels. Then major imperfections are repaired by hand, not with software which tends to soften the image. Picture files will be delivered in the format of your choice on a disk.  $1 each with a minimum charge of $50. Slides and 35mm negatives are scanned at 24,000dpi, medium format negatives are scanned at 12,000dpi, and photos are scanned at 1,200dpi.

• Do you have some old 8mm or super 8mm movies? Let Black Hole Video preserve these valuable memories for you in digital format and put them on a disk for viewing on a computer, posting on the web, or on DVD so you can share them with family and friends on your TV.  Cost is $25/50' reel; if your film is on a larger reel the cost is $25 for the first 50' and $12 for each remaining 50'. This price includes cleaning and lubricating your film, and repairing bad splices and sprocket holes. Deformed and severely damaged sections of film may have to be cut out.  Visit our Video Gallery page and view "8mm Wedding" and "Michelle at the Game Farm" to see two examples.
